Sabri Güleç began his tango journey in 2008; by 2010, he had become captivated by tango music, finding himself immersed in the boundless world of its beautiful melodies. Thus began his journey as a tango DJ. He started performing regularly at local milongas in Istanbul. Additionally, he gained international experience by performing in cities such as Marseille (France), Malmö (Sweden), Warsaw (Poland), Mytilene (Greece), Prague (Czechia), Florence and Naples (Italy), Varna and Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Dubai (UAE), and Beirut (Lebanon). Since 2013, he has had the pleasure of sharing his *tandas* at world-renowned festivals and marathons held across various cities in Türkiye. He draws increasing motivation from his ongoing research and archival work regarding tango music. While he is a great admirer of the Golden Age, he believes that the final word always belongs to the dancers on the floor.

Since 2008, she has been working as a Tango DJ alongside her role as a Tango instructor. She has DJed at events in cities and towns such as Antalya, İzmir, İstanbul, Denizli, Marmaris, Dalaman, and Fethiye. Believing it to be of great importance, she has dedicated years to curating and organizing his music archive. As an admirer of the *Guardia Vieja* era, she prefers to feature this style in her sets. Ultimately, the moments she enjoys most as a DJ are those when she brings tango lovers together in an embrace.

Hüseyin Özmen

TDJ — 2/1/2027 Evening Milonga

Part of the tango world since 2011, he has carried the experience he gained as a social dancer on the floors of many events into his tango DJing. Having played at numerous events in Turkey and abroad, he has blended the energy of different floors into his own musical interpretation.

In his music selection, he mainly favors Golden Age tango. His priority is to closely follow the energy of the floor and bring the dancers together in a shared feeling and rhythm. For him, tango DJing is not only about watching the dancers and making them dance; it is about sharing the same atmosphere with them and being able to feel as if he is dancing alongside them, even from outside the floor.

Mehmet Lütfi Elmas

TDJ — 1/1/2027 Evening Milonga

Mehmet Lütfi Elmas, who has been active as a tango DJ since 2011, has performed at national and international tango festivals, marathons, and milongas in cities across Turkey—including Denizli, Antalya, Izmir, Istanbul, Ankara, Adana, Bodrum, and Marmaris—as well as in Tbilisi, Kyiv, and Cyprus. At the heart of his musical identity lie the *Guardia Vieja*—representing tango’s roots—and the *Golden Age* of dance music. For him, being a tango DJ is not merely about playing *tandas* one after another; it is about reading the spirit of the dance floor, sensing the dancers' energy, and crafting the story of the night through music. Driven by a particular passion for the repertoires of Aníbal Troilo, Juan D’Arienzo, and Orquesta Típica Víctor, he loves bringing the powerful, dynamic character of the rhythm to the dance floor while simultaneously evoking the deep emotions of tango. Elmas shapes his *tandas* based on the dance floor's immediate energy and the interaction between dancers rather than adhering to predetermined patterns; he prioritizes managing the emotional shifts created by the music within the natural flow of the evening. For to him, a great milonga is not simply an event where beautiful music is played, but a night where the music comes alive in unison with the dancers.
